4-Day Zanzibar Fly-In Safari to Tarangire & Ngorongoro

For travelers already on the island who don’t want to miss the bush
4-Day Zanzibar Fly-In Safari to Tarangire & Ngorongoro

OVERVIEW

This is the route we build most often for guests who booked Zanzibar first and only later realized how close real safari country actually is. A short flight swaps sand for savanna without eating into your beach time.

  • Scenic flight from Zanzibar straight into safari country
  • Tarangire and Ngorongoro game drives
  • No long road transfers, flight time only
  • Return flight to Zanzibar or onward connection

day by day

Full itinerary

A short, scenic morning flight swaps the coastline for the bush, and by early afternoon you’re already on a game drive in Tarangire, tracking some of the densest elephant populations in East Africa along the riverbanks.

A full day inside the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most efficient wildlife-viewing days you can build into a short trip; the wildlife doesn’t leave, so you don’t need to chase it.

A gentler day through the Ngorongoro highlands and nearby Maasai communities, with one more game drive before the road turns back toward Arusha.

A transfer to the airport for your flight back to the island, or an onward connection if you’re heading home from here.
